Join us as we honor the resilience of the multicultural Gullah community—whose journey spans West Africa to Mexico—and celebrate Juneteenth through the powerful work of internationally acclaimed Fort Worth artist Sedrick Huckaby. After visiting Nacimiento de los Negros in Coahuila, Mexico (the first community outside the US to celebrate Juneteenth, and continues to do so since1870), Huckaby created 100 compelling portraits now on display at Talley Dunn Gallery.
